midnight mass at st nicholas'

we are split catholic/anglican family so much debate about where to go... settled on here. approaching there was candelight flickering in windows and the soft call of carols................ we walk in and the hymns r being played off a laptop and the candellight is not real

Blessing of Epiphany water at Tyburn Convent

unreal experience i am so thankful for but still cannot proccess. it was me a priest who was going on mission to taiwan for 5 years leading priest and about 20 benedictine nuns in the crypt where you can hear the whoosh of the tube going past. after we all went outside and sang we three kings while the leading priest tried to figure out what was right to draw with the holy chalk. and a guy on the phone walked past and went wow there are nuns about this is so lovely!

  9/10 one nun was english but had lived for like 40 years in peru and forgot how to speak english so another nun had to keep translating for her. the leading priest and nuns were jokign when we went outside that they should have brought their cigarettes and priest said that when he was a child priests would take snus behind the altar mid communion. i have rarely seen people so happy
